Mike Sekowsky Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman: "For the first time in my life I'm faced with practical problems...
like finding a place to live, and earning money for food."

This version of the famous amazon rendered powerless ran in DC Comics for a brief period of time, a move that revived Wonder Womans terrible late 1960s sales which had brought the title to the edge of cancellation.

The story brought together for this version of Diana Prince is part personality-makeover coupled with adventure, along with the usual comic book traps and perils.

Sekowsky's heavy blacking-ink styles was admired by Alex Toth, himself a proponent of using large masses of ink to round out the weight and depth of a figure or image, if not the whole page altogether.
