Tim Sievert page from That Salty Air: on the shore
[Below] Sievert's characters have a lot of unspoken, implied behaviors in between the panels and pages.
The tale concerns a young fellows violent battle against the sea after it takes more from him that he thought should be allowed. His family suffers and nothing is quite right until he makes peace with his life. Told mostly as parable, the story's characters are not plumbed too deeply, but operate like types within a fantastical environment thats more than ocean but less than phantasy.
Nice inking and panels blocked together for straight-forward page designs move the story quickly through the 112 pages.
