Though the Rudeny artwork is fun to look at, with his cartoony-stylized figures well-embellished to add roundness and substance to the scenery, there's actually not much happening here except in the heavy-writing of Steve Skeates. Panel #3 on the top has the classic setup many have used as a complaint about this era in comics: the text describes something which is then repeated exactly in the artwork, nothing added and with no purpose, bogging down the pace of the tale.
