It looks like Bolton must have seen the film more than a few times to be able to distill it down into a single 15-page comic book story. Also, his ability to get the likenesses of the actors involved so clearly makes me think he had a good set of movie stills on hand, or got to do a lot of sketching while watching the film. Either way it is a concise, expert miniature version of the film with dynamic drawing and inking.
