Catwoman by Jim Lee, from Batman and Robin "All Stars"

"What a creep! I don't think I like this guy at all!"

Joker, Scarecrow and Catwoman get together briefly in the Frank Miller / Jim Lee Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder "All Stars" DC Comics issue #8, and Green Lantern and Batman have a less than cordial introduction.

Jim Lee is perfectly suited for most of this, and Catwoman back in a purple outfit is retro and pure superhero. The issue itself starts off with a brutal Joker murder, which is the usual tactic of the DC Comics writers anymore, insisting we take the "Clown Prince O' Crime" seriously by demonstrating his bonifides with cruelty and murder.

I guess Frank Miller started this trend, connecting the Bob Kane/Bill Finger/Jerrry Robinson version of the Joker to his own version back in the 1980s DARK KNIGHT RETURNS Batman revivial book. It leap-frogged decades of goofy, non-threatening Joker behaviour, landing him into a psycho-ward of mental issues, 20th-century style. The Nolan Batman DARK KNIGHT movie obviously picked over this and found plenty to run with.
