Jack Teagle: Page from Jeff Job Hunter, 2010

Jeff Job Hunter, published by Nobrow Press, 2010

A 24-page comic chronicling the epic (but simple) adventure of an unemployed man trying to keep his benefits going. He's requiredby the Job Centre Work placement office to capture the head of the beast in a dungeon, and so sets off determined to get it, Though harrased by ambushing elves, wolves, skeleton men and finally a fight with the dungeon beast himself, he manages to complete the quest.

Though the story contains swords, bloodletting and fantasy creatures, it's all wrapped in the benign drudgery of paperwork. Excellent production values throughout.
