The story is about a WWII era American soldier sent into the past to kill Leonardo di Vinci. Hoping to nip in the bud the beginning of modern warfare and the idea of automatic weapons, the America soldier is confronted with the choice to murder di Vinci or not.

Robbins loose brush work disguises how tightly he arranges his shapes and lays in blacking to give everything weight.
