The Bugatti Type 59 was designed by Ettore Bugatti. He felt is chief competitor was the English Bently cars, which he called "trucks" by comparison to his own autos.
Hand crafted in ways that went well beyond the norm, they were all unique cars that had a relatively small pool of aficionados who could afford them.
