Sometimes it looks like Kelley Jones is the only guy having any real fun at DC Comics' superhero books. Compared to the current crop of open-line draftsman, Kelley's ink work stands out like a resurrected Berni Wrightson creature from some 1972 DC Mystery book. Dripping with ink and more ink, the silly storyline (by Serial funster Steve Niles, and handled that way by Jones) doesn't distract me from enjoying the lunacy of this series.
