Toth's pen work only gives way to brush with the heavy shadow-blacking. Some of this page is impressionistic in describing the environment (mostly in panel backgrounds), but Toth maintains a strict half-cartoon/half-illustration effort with the figures, and because he keeps the proportions realistic, the whole page gels as both a comic book page and a representation of the film itself.
