Metro Red Line

This lady's torn open knees reminded me:
Droplets from a motorcycle battery I had to frequently handle (to charge up)
would put small droplets of acid on my jeans and shirts. After a day or so the spots would turn
yellow, then the fibres would become stiff and stale and crumbly,
and a few more days there would be holes with unusually textured edges left.
