MEET THE BLEATLES !

On this day in 1958, Paul McCartney and John Lennon met. The mortal wound Elvis had given pop music in the 50s was soon to be followed by the Beatles finishing the job in the the 1960s.

[Above] Jean Harlow, i.e., Harlean Harlow Carpenter (born 1911) known as the "platinum blonde" actress of Hollywood in the 1930s.
