The top spot, according to the analysis over at icv2.com, is Marvel's Ultmatum #1 (of 5 issues), with 114,230 copies sold through Diamond's distribution into comic book specialty stores.

The number two selling comic was DC Comics Batman #681 (the conclusion to the Grant Morrison "Batman is dead" storyline) with 103,151 copies going out the doors.

The other big sellers were:

5. Unvcanny X-Men #504 - 77,773
6. Amazing Spider Man #577 - 76,625
7. Captain America #44 - 75,493
8. Buffy the Vampire Slayer #19 - 74, 202
9. JSA Kingdom Come Special #1 - 72,862
10. Justice Society of Ameica #20 - 71,355

The only non-Marvel or DC Comics book that made it into the top ten was Dark Horse's Buffy the Vampire Slayer series.

[There was no sign whatsoever of Two Headed Dog on the charts, nor Fistful of Ink.]
